Welcome to the 24-7 Parenting Forum.
Thank you for taking the time to visit us.
The 24-7 Parenting Forum is the reason Paula and I originally started this site. As parents of 9 children aged from 6 months to 16 years old. We have children at Grammar school, Comprehensive school, junior school, nursery, special needs school and one at home. With all this we have found ourselves in need of the odd tip here and there and increasingly been able to help others with a tip or two.
We liked the idea of sharing what we have found works and what hasn't while also hearing what works for you. Like what do you do when your children are bored and irritable during the school holidays? How do we curb that bad behaviour? And we have a debate section where we can ask, does the naughty step really work? and is smacking necessary?
It's Free to join, free to stay and very friendly so come join us today! Click Launch Forum to see for yourself.

BBC Audiobooks for kids
I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to be posting this, but I thought this looked like the best place to put it. If I'm wrong, then please move this to a more appropriate forum.
I'm trying to get the word out about a new service from the BBC - BBC Audiozone. It's an Audiobooks service, run by a company called Audible. The service offers a huge range of children’s titles including classics and current radio shows for kids of all ages, including: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, The Wind in the Willows, Just William, James and the Alien Experiment, Batman, and Thomas and Friends: The Railway Stories. There's plenty of audiobooks on the site for older listeners, too.
All the content can be downloaded and played on PCs and MP3 players or burned onto a CD. I'm posting about it on these forums because I thought the service might appeal to parents looking to spend a quiet car journey, or a way to quieten the kids down for an hour or two
If you're interested, you can find the site here. Thanks for reading, and for your time. Again, if this is in the wrong place, please feel free to move the post!
Many thanks!

Dog on heat
The little girl went to the garage and asked "Dad, may I take Susie for a walk around the block? I asked Mom, but she said that Susie was in heat, and to come talk to you."
Dad said, " Bring Susie over here" He took a rag, soaked it with gasoline, and scrubbed the dog's rear-end with it and said, "Okay, you can go now, but keep Susie on the leash and only go one time around the block." The little girl left, and returned a few minutes later with NO DOG on the leash.
Dad asked, "Where is Susie?"
The little girl said, "She will be here in a minute, she ran out of gas about halfway down the block and another dog is pushing her home."
